The project's initial challenge revolved around the event's key artwork, which posed usability difficulties due to low contrast, inadequate tonal balance causing visual strain, and non-scalable blending modes. My involvement included identifying issues and redesigning the artwork to conform to AWS's accessibility guidelines, ensuring a 4.5:1 contrast ratio.

The new artwork encompassed an extensive range of assets meticulously designed to amplify both aesthetic appeal and practical utility. This encompassed three distinct color-ways for clear distinction, expansive negative spaces optimized for text and AA compliance, heightened tonal contrast for impactful visuals, and artwork redesigned for seamless scalability.

The Figma file stands as a robust repository, housing 5,000 templates which include 130 social templates, mobile app designs, three versatile website templates, 200 digital screen templates, eight dynamic PowerPoint templates, as well as an array of web banners, email headers, and signatures for all global cities. Additionally, the intricate logo component system boasts nearly 300 combinations. Agencies globally were able to use these templates to create individual assets for their locations sizes and specs with the exception for all American-hosted summits which I managed and executed for all digital signs.

The outcomes of my design efforts for the NYC Summit were remarkable, surpassing projections. Registration exceeded 20,000 attendees, while attendance exceeded 11,500, reflecting robust audience engagement. Noteworthy was executive leader attendance, surpassing 460+, underscoring the event's appeal. Over 1470 carefully designed signage elements enhanced the overall experience, and the participation of 130+ onsite sponsors generated sponsorship revenue that reached 112% of the goal, underlining the success of our design contributions.
